June

Hampton Beach Sand Sculpture Competition - The Northeast's largest master sand sculpture competition is held at nearby Hampton Beach, 300 tons of imported sand is used to create these magical sand creations. The fun begins on June 19 and the castles will be illuminated through July 8, 2012.

Boston-Portsmouth Air Show - This annual two-day event is held at Pease International Airport and attracts some of the best pilots in the world. The planes take to the sky on June 30 - July 1, 2012.

Portsmouth Criterium - New Hampshire is transformed into a high-speed race course for world class cyclists during the Portsmouth Criterium and the event is just minutes from Sheraton Portsmouth. The bikes take over downtown on September 9, 2012.
