Strawbery Banke Museum (0.5 miles from hotel)
At this great family experience, take a half day to explore the historic waterfront neighborhood known as “Puddle Dock.” Historic houses and period landscapes depict life in a typical New England neighborhood from the mid-17th century through the 1950s. Role players, interpreters, guided and self-guided tours are available. Open daily May 1 thru October 31. Holiday House tours are available November and December. Candlelight Stroll occurs the first 3 weekends of December.

Pontine Movement Theatre (1.5 miles from hotel)
Founded on the concept that the actor should function as a creative (rather than interpretive) artist, and that the name actor dictates action (movement) as their primary tool. Co-Artistic Directors, M. Marguerite Mathews and Gregory Gathers (along with nine company members over the last twenty-six years), have presented over 50 original works.
