He then led us in a tasting session to introduce the team to the nuances of different beer styles in a very approachable way. Each beer was thoughtfully presented with brewery information, taste and aroma profile, and how it compared to the other beers we were tasting. The ten beers we sampled were divided into four areas; Pale Ale, IPA, Brown Ale, and Porter/Stout. Some of our favorites were the Lagunitas
Little Sumpin' Sumpin' for its strong hoppy finish, the Rising Tide
Ishmael for its slightly sweet and malty characteristics, and the Breckenridge
Vanilla Porter for its unique chocolate and roasted nut flavor.
